You may want to cover your eyes....And, seriously Hal???

Still....can't turn the pictures around! Anyone?

Halli likes to sit up now (with a little help). She was watching American Idol with her dad. All the while he was paranoid b/c he doesn't want her watching TV all the time...I'm pretty sure she doesn't even know what TV is yet. As you can see, she tired of it pretty quickly. :) p.s. I forget to write and add pics backwards, so scroll up.

CAUTION: These are to be viewed only under parental supervision. You may ask why I am posting a picture of Halli's poopy diaper. Good question. I really don't know other than I am still shocked sometimes at how much poop one little person and generate. And, the force required for it to shoot out of her diaper. Astonishing.

Now...I did not purchase this black onsie. My ob gave it to me as a "partying gift." How thoughtful and what a nice reminder. If you read closely, you will see it says "I came out of a hole this big." My dr made sure and told me the circle is the actual diameter that little baby Halli came through. Wow. On another note, just look how cute she is!

On the same note, I guess I'll throw in one more article of clothing I found of Hal's...See the American flag shirt my grandma has on? Yep, Halvin used to wear this to work out in. I'm sure it has a name, but it isn't coming to mind right now (and I have to hurry up so I can shower before Halli wakes up!). We used it as our gag gift at Christmas. My grandma thought it was an apron at first...but then she went ahead and tried it on! TOO funny. Now, please don't think I'm always picking on my husband. These are the things that make him so sweet, adorable, make me love him so much, and make me laugh histerically (sp).

So Halvin was cleaning out some stuff in the extra room and low and behold this is what I found...Yes, that is right...denim cut offs, acid washed, and button fly. So, like the good wife (this was not the only pair of shorts that were throw back to the 80's by the way) I went ahead and washed them. I was thinking this may be a joke or something, surely he would not want to wear these...so I asked just to make sure. Oh yes, Hal didn't know what I was talking about. So, some day I'll remove them and donate them when he least expects it. Because, seriously...haven't I taught you more fashion that that?

Anytime I need to laugh, I just come here and look at the picture of her staring at the TV. It is so stinking funny. And my mom said that it might as well be Jenn in the first picture of Halli with her Valentine's bib..."that face! It's Jennifer!"

Our Life Story...

One of my favorite quotes is "You are the author of your own life story..." How true is that???? So, here is a brief glimpse into our life story. It's not always super exciting (actually-it is pretty exciting), but it's always blessed...

About Me

Really, it's not about me, it's about us...We've almost been married two years now!!!! I can't believe it. I think I can honestly say it's been the best two years of my life. Who knew marriage could be so wonderful? I sure didn't. I have the most wonderful husband on the entire planet. Although, I'm sure some of my friends would argue that their husband is the best...But you know, if you marry your God Given Soul Mate-I'll let you have that one. Yours is the most wonderful man for you!!! And to all my girlfriends who have married that man, I am SO happy for you because you know how great marriage can be. And if you haven't found him yet, don't give up. Just be patient...He is out there somewhere, just waiting for the perfect time to come into your life. I can't imagine that it's going to get any better...I suppose just "different" yet awesome, once our baby gets here. I am thankful each day for all God has given us...
