Ryan's Wedding and My Snotty Nosed Kid.

Well, the time has come. I have become the mom I never wanted to be. The mom whose kid has a water faucet for a nose. Sick-out. Poor baby Halli has picked up a cold or something and has the continuous running of snot down her nose, you know it's bad when you look over and she is eating her snot. You know it is worse when she can blow bubbles with her own snot.

As I've come to find out, there is "no perfect mom." Just as I thought I'd never be the mom who would miss a shower (due to no time), I thought "When I have kids, I'll never let their nose be full of snot and run down their lip." Boy, was I wrong. There is absolutely no way around it. I do feel sorry for her. She can't breath very easily and she has come to know the nose plunger very well. I can't blame her for screaming bloody murder when I shove it up her nostril. I would do the same thing.

Our brother Ryan got married this last Friday. We had a blast and it was so great to see everyone! They are a lovely couple! I am so proud of Uncle Don for his first holding of Halli...he did great and Halli loved him as you can see!

You look so great!! Your sweet girl is adorable. I felt the SAME way before I had kids and as you said I am now one of those moms also. I am glad you are doing so good.

Our Life Story...

One of my favorite quotes is "You are the author of your own life story..." How true is that???? So, here is a brief glimpse into our life story. It's not always super exciting (actually-it is pretty exciting), but it's always blessed...

About Me

Really, it's not about me, it's about us...We've almost been married two years now!!!! I can't believe it. I think I can honestly say it's been the best two years of my life. Who knew marriage could be so wonderful? I sure didn't. I have the most wonderful husband on the entire planet. Although, I'm sure some of my friends would argue that their husband is the best...But you know, if you marry your God Given Soul Mate-I'll let you have that one. Yours is the most wonderful man for you!!! And to all my girlfriends who have married that man, I am SO happy for you because you know how great marriage can be. And if you haven't found him yet, don't give up. Just be patient...He is out there somewhere, just waiting for the perfect time to come into your life. I can't imagine that it's going to get any better...I suppose just "different" yet awesome, once our baby gets here. I am thankful each day for all God has given us...
