Lots of stuff going on...

Sorry, long time no blog.

We have had a lot going on lately. We just closed on our old house yesterday. There is nothing like selling your house and then having to pay the new owner hundreds of dollars to stay a few extra days. This whole house thing has been stress city. We close on the new house next week, then move that weekend. My house is a disaster. It looks like a cardboard box vomited in my living room there are so many boxes every where. Hal leaves for Houston today for the trade show. Halli and I decided to stay here because it is too hard to keep her entertained for that many days without all the necessary "equipment."Plus my mom is back in town from being gone 2 weeks so we can spend some time with her.

We had a garage sale last weekend. That was eventful. We made some money though and got rid of all of our stuff. Our friends from Austin came down to help and Julie is from Argentina. It was her first garage sale ever. It was was way cute. She is a bargain hunter like me and so this was right up her alley. All the left over clothes we had she is taking back to Argentina for her family and people at her church. So this makes me happy to know they are going to people who need them.

Here are a few pictures of the new house. Can't wait to get in it! Hal is super excited that there are deer everywhere and Halli will have a pet deer...

The house looks beautiful!! Good luck with the move. You will be so glad when you are in and settled.

Our Life Story...

One of my favorite quotes is "You are the author of your own life story..." How true is that???? So, here is a brief glimpse into our life story. It's not always super exciting (actually-it is pretty exciting), but it's always blessed...

About Me

Really, it's not about me, it's about us...We've almost been married two years now!!!! I can't believe it. I think I can honestly say it's been the best two years of my life. Who knew marriage could be so wonderful? I sure didn't. I have the most wonderful husband on the entire planet. Although, I'm sure some of my friends would argue that their husband is the best...But you know, if you marry your God Given Soul Mate-I'll let you have that one. Yours is the most wonderful man for you!!! And to all my girlfriends who have married that man, I am SO happy for you because you know how great marriage can be. And if you haven't found him yet, don't give up. Just be patient...He is out there somewhere, just waiting for the perfect time to come into your life. I can't imagine that it's going to get any better...I suppose just "different" yet awesome, once our baby gets here. I am thankful each day for all God has given us...
