A few Pictures of Halli in her "August" dress from great grandma

My Grandma makes Halli a dress every month or so. This is her "August" dress. I think it is my favorite so far...Oh so adorable. She wore it to "Sunday School" this morning. She seems to like the child care at church. She went in, sat right now and picked us some "new" toys and was like, "Alright people, let's play." Never looked back. Here are a few shots on our back patio.

The house is coming along-slowly. I should have known, it took me at least a month to pack everything up, so I should figure that amount of time for everything to find its perfect place. I am only able to get in any good amount of time "organizing" when Halli is asleep, which isn't much. So I start projects here and there and have to come back to them later. But we are LOVING our new home. Hal got his caribou hung today, so he feels unpacked and settled.

It is the perfect house for us. The floor plan is amazing and all of our furniture/stuff fits beautifully. Plus, my mom comes by all the time! I sooo love that and so does baby Halli. We are enjoying visiting with the deer every night as well.

We leave a week from tomorrow for Colorado for the month of Sept so I'm try to get organized enough to pack for an entire month. Plus I am cooking for camp the first week so I'm trying to get a menu planned and a few meals cooked and frozen in case of "Halli Emergency" one night. It will be a busy week but we are excited about going, especially getting out of the heat!

Signing off for now...

Our Life Story...

One of my favorite quotes is "You are the author of your own life story..." How true is that???? So, here is a brief glimpse into our life story. It's not always super exciting (actually-it is pretty exciting), but it's always blessed...

About Me

Really, it's not about me, it's about us...We've almost been married two years now!!!! I can't believe it. I think I can honestly say it's been the best two years of my life. Who knew marriage could be so wonderful? I sure didn't. I have the most wonderful husband on the entire planet. Although, I'm sure some of my friends would argue that their husband is the best...But you know, if you marry your God Given Soul Mate-I'll let you have that one. Yours is the most wonderful man for you!!! And to all my girlfriends who have married that man, I am SO happy for you because you know how great marriage can be. And if you haven't found him yet, don't give up. Just be patient...He is out there somewhere, just waiting for the perfect time to come into your life. I can't imagine that it's going to get any better...I suppose just "different" yet awesome, once our baby gets here. I am thankful each day for all God has given us...
